Appointment
policies.
Clear expectations create a calm, professional experience. Please review these policies before submitting your inquiry.
$200 appointment deposit
A $200 deposit is required to reserve an appointment only after Alora Tattoo has reviewed and accepted the project. Payment instructions are sent privately. Submitting an inquiry does not reserve an appointment.
The deposit is applied according to the written appointment details provided when the project is accepted. Deposits cannot be transferred to another person or project.
Cancellations & rescheduling
48 hours or more before the appointment: You may cancel or reschedule without paying an additional deposit.
Less than 48 hours before the appointment: A new $200 deposit is required before another appointment can be reserved.
Please arrive on time. A late arrival may shorten the appointment or require rescheduling when there is not enough time to complete the work safely and carefully.
Age & identification
Clients must be at least 18 years old. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required at the appointment. Parental or guardian consent does not permit tattooing anyone under 18 in New York.
Inquiry, pricing & design
Every request is reviewed for subject matter, placement, timing, and artistic fit. Alora sets pricing for accepted projects. Clients are not asked to select or submit a tattoo budget.
Your appointment is reserved for the approved concept, placement, and approximate size. Major changes may require a new consultation, additional drawing time, a different appointment, or a revised price. Reasonable refinements that preserve the approved direction may be discussed with Alora Tattoo.
Touch-ups
Touch-up requests are reviewed individually after the tattoo has fully healed. Eligibility, timing, and any fee depend on the condition of the tattoo, the original project, aftercare, placement, and the amount of work required. Work affected by significant design changes, neglect, injury, sun exposure, or another artist is not treated as a standard touch-up.
Health disclosures & consent
Before tattooing, clients must complete and sign the studio’s consent and release documents and truthfully disclose information that may affect the appointment or healing. Alora Tattoo may postpone or decline a service when proceeding would be inappropriate or unsafe. Clients with medical concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking.
Do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Service will be declined and the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Aftercare acknowledgment
Written aftercare instructions will be provided. Clients are responsible for following those instructions and contacting Alora promptly with questions about the tattoo. Medical concerns should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional.
Photography permission
Photos or video may be requested to document and share Alora’s work. Permission for promotional use is optional and will be requested separately; declining promotional permission does not affect your service.
Policy updates
Policies may be updated as the studio’s services and procedures evolve. The terms provided with an approved appointment will apply to that booking.
